Sometimes I have to configure working mini-PBX LG Aria Soho. Since I have never coped with telephony and communications, except the basic setup and wiring, then, frequently, the issues that experts seem ridiculous to me caused a long and hard search in the internet. So, in order not to look again the information at the forums next time, and if luckily I find another job, and instead of me the other administrator get a similar task - I will write a brief cribs on administrations (or as they say in specialized forums - "programming") of our mini-PBX with the help of the program LG ARIA SOHO. Text chaotic, pictures too:-)

First. To find, download and install is not difficult. Put “aria soho” in Google search and actually, the first link is successful. At startup the username by default is administrator, password is 0000. This is to log in PC-Admin. Next, go to Tools-> Site information and create a profile of our PBX. Oh, I forgot, it is important for those who stuck in the ATS cable (where, by the way, a typical printer A-> B), if you connect to a local network, then put down the ip address. All fields are optional, I just filled in the name and that is all. Now the feature that embarrassed me at the very beginning. If you choose File-> Connect, then there will be an error. To connect to a PBX, you now need to reopen Tools-> Site information, in the column you will have a created profile and there right click Connect (USB).
ATTENTION!!! When you connect PBX system to a computer, the Windows will be surprised and will not find the driver. No need to run to Google and download all sorts of dll and inf. Drivers for the PBX are here: \ Program Files \ LDK-PCADMIN \ Admin \. The way indicated when searching for the drivers manually.

Second – Up we go!. So, I will describe the tasks that I have solved. About fine programming, configuration, and so on - I am not aware, it is not a profiling task. We have 4 "city" number and 27 extensions. Those that are city numbers, or external, called CO. i.e. CO group - a group of external lines. They are logically will be divided into 1,2,3,4. I will make reservation a lot, which is what I am going to do now. I already knew which line has which number. How to connect them initially can be found in the manuals to the PBX. And another important reserve, here in bold, you can configure via the system phone LG. even easier. But ours is broken down, and the new costs as the whole PBX:-) Extension numbers or station we have from 101 and up to 127. Actually, in the Station List section you can see all yours, putting down a range of extensions. There you can specify the name of each user, station type and a bunch of other useful settings. There won’t be a screen of course.
At discussion forums, people often write "click PGM120 .... or PGM171 can be set a music .... etc. PGMXXX are the sections in PC-Admin and they are indicated in parentheses.
The objective is to restrain certain stations to exit the line. So, from each phone, when pressing 9, the user goes to an idle CO line and dials the number. Cool. But there are situations when one line should be available for emergency calls and the vip-user will not wait until someone talk. For this purpose is created CO Access group (PGM 117). As the name suggests, and also clicking on the menu, we will see the access groups to a specific external line. I will specify, virtually all of the tables are opened in read-only mode, for adjustments is necessary to click the right button "update tool". Double-click on a line can work but not always. So, opening PGM117, we can choose a number of the line and clicking refresh see who has access to this line. If we are not satisfied, we click update tool (right key) and set on the right the range of users’ numbers, then GET. We will see a list of access groups equivalent to the lines. We click and select the required Update. Now we managed it.

One more reserve worthy of being in the very beginning of the article, but if you read as much as it is still better to mention. To display any information, virtually at all of the tables, you must specify an output parameter (for example, the range of stations or CO-line) and click Refresh. Without clicking it will not updated.
The task is to make it so that some users couldn’t make intercity calls. Intercity calls mean anything that begins at 8-xxxxxxxx. In short – to close 8. And there is a nuance that I read on a forum somewhere on artcom. What was the trouble - I forbid intercity calls, but could still dial the number. I.e. person could press 8, hear beep, then started to dial the code and only then hear short beeps. Well I would like to turn off immediately and forever:-) To do this, you will need to prihibit 8D. So, in the PBX are already built-in groups (probably, so I understood). To forbid the numbers it is required that the station was in COS 6. To do this, we open the PGM 116, select the type COS - Day (here I think no need to explain what and how), and after that a range of stations, that we want to be banned.
After that View. In the list Update Tool. Write the same station in the Start and End and put Day COS and Night Cos - 6. After that Update. Then go to the tables PGM 225 and PGM 224, select everywhere the button Deny (prohibition) and put in the line 8D respectively. After that those users that you put to COS6, the number 8 on the phone will immediately give a short beep. However, 8 will work dialing city numbers. eg 8-910-xxxxxx - NO! but 26-78-XX - YES! By the way, if you will figure this topic, you can do so that only cellular will not work, but intercity will. BUT it will not work, if a cellular is fixed. Probably. Well, here is the screen and now we have achieved the goal:-)

Task: it is necessary that when somebody calls to the organization on the first line - call will go initially to one office, after a few rings in another, and so on, and if on the other line - to the other offices of employees. The task is trivial and easy. All this is set in the CO Ring Assigment or PGM 144/145. In general, the entire section CO Line Base program is worthy to be mentioned, but I describe only what I have to solve and do, because it is not manual, but a little note to remember. So, we opened the table CO Ring Assigment and pointing upwards CO Num - or the line number on which we define users’ numbers that take incoming calls. Chose refresh and update tool as I taught. Specify the time (I always put Day everywhere), the type of user (station) (it is indicated if the user has not ordinary phone, but e.g. lg station or another call device), then the range (I've always done for each individual, pointing at start and end the same number) and delay. Delay is the number of the dial tone to which the user is forwarding. When there is a value "0", the caller gets to this station and waiting the answer. Next, we point that on delay 4 will be a station, let’s say 105. The caller expects that somebody pick up a phone and after the fourth beep mini PBX transfers the call to the station with an internal 105, etc. Very helpful and comfortable. I think you understand why. We put data and update. (If you want to remove, then put a tick on Delete, and indicate the stations).

Initial configuration in Pre-programming, and here we decide which port has which extension. And set the values.

Any setting like the type of call and the displayed name, as I said, is set in the Station List -> Station Attribute. It is enough once to sweat, sit, read, translate, set it and forget.  I would recommend to write the name of the user if the Director will has a telephone with display, he will be happy, believe me. By the way, the fax customize there too.

So, what I'm saying. I do not position this material as an instruction. Specialists and professionals will only laugh over what I wrote here (facepalm ... what a lamer, so simple task and haphazardly written). This is a reminder for me, as I am sure that this task will be set not once, and also for those admins who "you're a programmer," as well as for those who are interested but got confused. I want to say that if in your organization set PBX or mini-PBX, do not be lazy, learn. They will not always call a specialist, and it is not always necessary to call in a support in case of force majeure and waste time. Just do not forget to make back-ups and do not get in a very dark jungle like Location Information. Anyway strive for self-perfection:-)
