Due to the release of the new 10-th season of X-Files, I want to recall the furor of the series in my childhood.
The boom of the agents Mulder and Scully was in 2000, just at my school years, and certainly became my favorite series. I collected everything that is connected to it- calendars, posters, books, magazines. Drew stylized X everywhere, bought audio cassettes with Mark Snow (the composer of famous music), decorated my room with the elements of the series. I think that the true fans of x-files can remember Fox's nickname in his childhood, to understand how much I liked these series. When David Duhovny left the series and Robert Patrick substituted him, I decided that the "X-Files" would finish soon and how pleasantly I was surprised to know that: a) all seasons are reissued in Full HD, b) come out 10-th season with Anderson and Duhovny. I'm not going to retell the whole story, the biography of the actors, etc. It can be found in more professional and thematic web resources, also I will not retell full-length films and episodes, I will only share with you my small fan collection of X-Files series.
Let's start with books. Having read "Shadows" I liked the book so much that I tried to buy all the publications (unfortunately, I don't have them all due to rising prices). The book gave an opportunity to learn about what can not be captured by the camera.
All calendars and bookmarks which I got from the store on the central square, I put in a photo album. The owner of the small shop for fans of different directions knew me and tried to bring a unique calendars, bookmarks or posters.
Of course the mega boom of this era were badges!
I wish the new 10-th season of X-Files created a new generation of fans who would be as delighted as we were at our childhood. Especially now when it’s easier to get the various elements of the heroes thanks to the Internet.
